Why climate and environmental justice matter: As climate change builds upon historic injustices and inequities, our climate solutions must center justice. Communities of color, low-income areas and those who live next to power plants and other polluters face the greatest risk, are hit first and worst by climate change, and suffer real environmental injustices.
How we advocate for justice and equity: In support of the global movement for climate and environmental justice, EDF is working to leverage our deep expertise in science, policy, economics and community engagement to advance equitable climate solutions — so everyone can benefit from a safer, healthier future.
