(ROCKVILLE – May 13, 2015) Smart Grid Today named the 50 Smart Grid Pioneers of 2015 today, which includes Environmental Defense Fund’s (EDF) own Dick Munson, director, Midwest Clean Energy. Dick is featured alongside other smart grid visionaries, including Audrey Zibelman, chair, New York State Public Service Commission, and former Governor Bill Ritter, founder and director of the Center for the New Energy Economy, who are described by Smart Grid Today as “the best and brightest smart grid industry stakeholders succeeding at tackling many of the complexities in digitizing the power distribution world, some of which could barely be imagined just a decade ago.”
“EDF aims to help modernize our outdated energy infrastructure, and Dick Munson has taken tremendous strides in the Midwest to make the transition to a clean energy economy possible.
