Description

Caroline Jones is a senior analyst on EDF’s State Climate team, where she primarily focuses on regulatory and legislative initiatives on climate in the Western United States. 

Caroline’s areas of focus include environmental justice, carbon markets, improving local air quality, and long-term reductions of greenhouse gas emissions. Prior to joining EDF, Caroline worked as an agriculture and food security intern for TetraTech ARD, and was a research assistant for the 2020 Vermont Climate Assessment. She also led the Brown University Climate and Development Lab, where she researched climate change denial and financial networks in the U.S. 

Background

Caroline has worked on state-level climate policy in Rhode Island and Vermont, and specifically focused on food security and sustainable infrastructure policy throughout undergraduate and graduate school.

She holds a Master’s in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies from Brown University.
