Description
As an attorney with EDF, Cole works with a variety of key state decision-makers and stakeholders to ensure sufficient charging programs and grid developments are in place to support the rapid transition to zero-emissions medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. Cole focuses on charging infrastructure programs, system planning and rate design with an emphasis on prioritizing the benefits of transportation electrification in environmental justice communities.
Background
Prior to joining EDF, Cole’s work included serving as a law clerk for Senator Ed Markey working on transportation and communications policy, as a research assistant with the Harvard Energy and Environmental Law Program tracking federal environmental regulatory actions, and as editor-in-chief of the Harvard Environmental Law Review. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
