Description
Peri Rosenstein is a senior scientist for livestock systems, and she focuses on quantifying and reducing global livestock enteric and manure methane emissions. She partners with a variety of stakeholders to advance strategies to sustainably mitigate the impact of agriculture on climate change.
Background
Peri is a veterinarian with a background in public health and epidemiology. Most recently, she worked for Merck Animal Health in clinical research to develop new companion animal and livestock pharmaceutical and biological products. She holds a veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University. She grew up on a backyard farm in New Jersey.
