Description
As a Legal Fellow, Veronica represents EDF in federal and state regulatory proceedings related to energy transmission and clean energy. Before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, she advocates for the development and implementation of market designs and rules that encourage the development and use of clean and distributed energy resources to meet system needs. Before state public utility commissions, she advocates for regulatory policies and ratemaking practices that reduce methane emissions and prevent overinvestment in new or expanded gas infrastructure.
Background
Previously, Veronica served as a Staff Attorney on the Climate and Energy Team at the National Wildlife Federation. She also served on the Cancer Free Economy Network’s Council and led the Network’s Emerging Leaders Program. In 2021, she was appointed to a Department of Energy Fellowship with the Vermont Public Utility Commission.
