Courts Issue Second Restraining Order for Trump Administration’s Lawless Holdup of Federal Funding
Statement of Joanna Slaney, EDF Associate Vice President
“Twice now the courts have had to issue temporary restraining orders to stop the serious and immediate harm to the American people from the Trump administration’s lawless decision to hold up approved federal funding. The chaos and confusion caused by the administration is what Project 2025 promised to do. And Russell Vought, one of the architects of that 900-page agenda, would only accelerate this pattern of abuse of power if he's confirmed to lead the Office of Management and Budget."
