Farmers and families will be harmed by USDA burial of climate science

(WASHINGTON, DC) “The Trump administration’s decision to remove all climate-related information from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s website does a serious disservice to American farmers and ranchers who are already suffering from the effects of extreme weather, and to American families who are already suffering from high food prices.
“Droughts, floods and heatwaves are disrupting food production, undermining the prosperity of America’s rural economies and threatening the food on our tables. Pretending the problem doesn’t exist won’t make it go away.
“This short-sighted, political decision will deprive farmers and ranchers of the information they need to keep their businesses viable. Families, farmers and rural communities will continue to suffer.”
