Description
Andrew Howell, CFA is Senior Director and Head of Research for Sustainable Finance at EDF, where he is responsible for engaging with the financial community to accelerate the energy transition. He works on a range of sectors including sustainable finance, methane, transportation and carbon markets.
Background
Previously, Andrew was an equity research analyst with Citi Research for two decades, where he led a top ranked research team focused on emerging and frontier markets. Andrew has also worked at the Emerging Markets Investors Alliance, where he led investor ESG engagements in the mining and energy sectors.
Andrew is Adjunct Instructor in Climate Finance at the Columbia Climate School and sits on the CFA Institute's Sustainable Investing Advisory Panel. He attended the University of Pennsylvania and INSEAD Business School, is a CFA charterholder, and holds and Fundamentals of Sustainable Accounting (FSA) and CFA Certificate in Climate and Investing designations. Andrew is fluent in French and Russian.
