Description
Ian is a Director in EDF’s U.S. Power Sector Decarbonization team where he is focused on policy, analysis and strategies that support near-term greenhouse gas reductions in the U.S. power sector through federal, state, and company-level engagement.
Background
Prior to joining EDF, Ian was a Foreign Affairs officer for the U.S. State Department’s Office of Global Change, leading on a wide range of international clean energy and climate programs. He held prior roles working on energy and environmental issues at the Department of Energy and as a Congressional Science Fellow in the Office of Senator Merkley. Ian also teaches energy and climate classes as an adjunct faculty at Georgetown University.
